Morgan McCall, RN, named Statewide Director of Palliative Care

South Carolina House Calls is pleased to announce Morgan McCall, RN, has been named as the Director of South Carolina House Calls the newest service “Palliative Care.” Morgan joined Agape Hospice in 2012 as an RN Case Manager, after earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Charleston Southern University. Morgan is a certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse. Morgan transitioned from Agape Hospice to South Carolina House Calls as a Palliative Clinical Coordinator, and then promoted to the Director of Operations for the Charleston Region.
Theresa Younis, the President of South Carolina House Calls, stated, “South Carolina House Calls has over 100 clinicians bringing home-based palliative and primary care directly to the patient. We are thrilled to expand our services from primary palliative to now being able to offer a specialty palliative program and Morgan McCall is the right person to lead this initiative.”
Morgan serves as Nominating and Membership Committee Chair for the Lowcountry Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association, is a member of the Ethics and Patient Rights Committee for Trident Health, is the Contact Nurse & Content Reviewer for South Carolina Nursing Association CE for LTC University, and ministers on the Drama Team at First Baptist of Moncks Corner. She is actively involved at her alma mater, serving on the Women’s Council to assist in raising scholarship funds.
She resides in the Lowcountry with her husband, Bill, and two dogs, Lucy and Ruddy. In her spare time, she enjoys endless home improvement projects, boating, trying out new recipes, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
